Clyfford Still Museum
Denver, Colorado
About
The Clyfford Still Museum in Denver is the only museum in the world dedicated to a single Abstract Expressionist painter. Still (1904–1980) was one of the first generation of Abstract Expressionists and among its most uncompromising. The museum holds approximately 94 percent of his lifetime output — over 800 paintings and 2,400 works on paper — making it an unparalleled resource for studying one of the 20th century's most significant artists.
