The Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum in Honolulu is the largest museum in Hawaii and the state's premier natural and cultural history institution. Founded in 1889, it holds the world's largest collection of Hawaiian and Pacific cultural artifacts — more than 25 million specimens and objects.
