The Indianapolis Museum of Art, now known as Newfields, is one of the largest and most encyclopedic art museums in the United States, with a collection of more than 54,000 works spanning 5,000 years of world art. Its holdings are particularly strong in Neo-Impressionism, Japanese art, and African and African American art. The museum's 152-acre campus includes a historic mansion, formal gardens, a nature preserve, and a craft brewery.
