About
The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky is the official home of America's sports car. Located adjacent to the Corvette Assembly Plant, the museum traces the Corvette's history from the first 1953 model through every generation to the present. A dramatic sinkhole event in 2014 swallowed eight Corvettes into the museum floor; several were preserved for display exactly as they were found, in a beloved permanent exhibition.
