The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) is Maryland's largest art museum, with a collection of 95,000 works spanning antiquity to the present. The museum holds the world's largest collection of works by Henri Matisse, donated by the Cone sisters in 1950. In 2020, the BMA became the first major American museum to make its entire permanent collection free to all visitors.
