About
The Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA) is one of the great encyclopedic art museums of the world, with a collection of approximately 500,000 works spanning the full breadth of art history. Its collections are particularly renowned for their depth in ancient Egypt, classical antiquities, Asian art, American paintings and decorative arts, and Impressionist paintings. The MFA's Art of the Americas wing, opened in 2010, presents three centuries of American art in 53 galleries.
