The Saint Louis Art Museum (SLAM) is one of the major comprehensive art museums in the United States, with a collection of more than 35,000 works spanning 5,000 years and representing virtually every culture in the world. Housed in a landmark 1904 World's Fair building atop Art Hill in Forest Park, the museum offers free general admission. The Cuno expansion, designed by David Chipperfield, opened in 2013.
