The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is one of the oldest and largest modern art museums in the western United States, with a collection of approximately 3,000 works created after 1945. The museum's striking building, designed by Tadao Ando and opened in 2002, features five pavilions reflected in a 1.5-acre pond. Its collection includes major works by Picasso, Rothko, Pollock, Kiefer, and Richter.
