About

The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming is the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to the art of wildlife. Its collection of approximately 5,000 works spans 5,000 years, from prehistoric cave art reproductions to contemporary paintings and sculptures. The museum's sandstone building, carved into a butte overlooking the National Elk Refuge, is a masterwork of naturalistic architecture.
