About
The Broad is a contemporary art museum on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, opened in 2015 by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad. The museum houses the Broad collection of nearly 2,000 works of postwar and contemporary art, with particular depth in the work of Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Its distinctive honeycomb exterior, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, has become an iconic presence on the LA skyline.
