About
The Hammer Museum at UCLA is a free art museum and cultural center in Los Angeles's Westwood neighborhood that champions new art and new ideas. Founded in 1990, the museum has evolved into one of Los Angeles's most adventurous contemporary art venues, presenting risk-taking exhibitions of emerging and underrepresented artists. Its biennial exhibition, Made in L.A., has become a defining survey of the Los Angeles contemporary art scene.
