About
The High Museum of Art in Atlanta is the leading art museum in the southeastern United States, with a collection of more than 18,000 works. Its holdings span European and American paintings and sculpture, African art, photography, folk art, and decorative arts. The museum's Richard Meier-designed building, opened in 1983, is an architectural landmark, and the subsequent Renzo Piano expansion doubled the museum's gallery space.
