About

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland is the Pacific Northwest's premier science museum, with more than 200 hands-on exhibits across multiple pavilions. Located on the east bank of the Willamette River, the museum also houses an Omnimax Theater, a planetarium, a submarine (the USS Blueback, used in the film The Hunt for Red October), and a motion simulator. Its programs for children and adults have made it a cornerstone of Portland's cultural landscape.
