The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in downtown Dallas is a science and natural history museum opened in 2012. Designed by Thom Mayne of Morphosis Architects, its dramatic concrete building is one of the most striking pieces of contemporary architecture in Texas. The museum's 11 permanent halls explore subjects from paleontology and human history to energy, engineering, and the cosmos.
